The Unpopular Opinion thread got me thinking. What does everybody else listen to outside of Hip Hop? People were mentioning Michael Jackson, Prince and Stevie Wonder, who all make great music, but if I had to narrow it down to 10 artists I don't think I'd pick either of them.

2. Bob Marley & The Wailers
3. Erykah Badu
4. Grandmaster Flash & The Furious 5
5. Wu Tang Clan
6. John Coltrane
7. Aretha Franklin
8. Nas
9. 2Pac
10. Billie Holiday
A lot of people got left out. In particular, I wanted to make sure there's enough female vocals. I'd get sick of listening to men all the time. I tried to keep an even balance of music and Hip Hop (which is another thread altogether).
Aretha Franklin's discography is deep that's how she got picked.
