Don't know how this will work but this was a old idea I had back in the day that I was going to use on the IC and never did.


Basically we to take a random topic like I don't know "masturbating" you state your case why you're for it and then you argue why you're against it.


Thought it would be cool idea to see how you argue with yourself and others on how you agree and disagree on the same subject

Look here fam, humans are like when you go to the big grocery store like whole foods or wal mart, and you come across the cereal isle. You've been eating cheerios your whole life aint even had the honey nut flavor yet but you see coco puffs, frosted flakes, honey smacks, rice crispys, reesey's puffs etc. I wanna try all of them shit's if you don't like em no harm no foul.

When I was younger I used to be like would someone not date someone that looked like them and been through the same thing as them. Then I grew up and realized that you be with someone because you care for them and love them. If that person can make you happy and smile at the end of the day fuck I care if their skin is white, yellow or fuck it blue. We too many times care what others might think about the person YOU chose to be happy with. Even Pac let go of love because of what others might think and say. I for one will follow what my heart say and if say pull the Becky with the long hair then I'm going to do it.

FOH nigga, I would never go against my sister love to be keekeeking and lovey dovey with a white broad or yellow broad. Their ancestors hated your black ass and you chose to slide up in one thinking that love conquers all bullshit. Them hoes will never know your struggles and your kids will be laughed at. You'll be the same nigga coming back to a sister when them hoes take you for everything like a white Chyna #bars

The more we mix and mingle wit other races the closer our society become. The ultimate demise of racism is going to be the mixing of the "races". I like to call mixed kids future people, in like 200 years majority of the world is going to be of mixed heritage and that's a good thing. How can you hate what's apart of your family. Plus genetic diversity is good so any species.

Con:
You likelihood of having shared experiences and common bonds. We all want a partner that we can relate to and that understands us, true understanding is much less likely if they haven't experienced the same things as you. Im not gonna be able to speak and vent to Becky about certain topics and expect her to have complete understand of my POV.
Also, black women are disproportionately less chosen when dating interracially. As a black man I do feel a sort of obligation to choose my sisters.
 
Against:

Your people all around the world are looked down at, have had and are currently still having precious resources being taken from them or exploited with most of your people receiving little in return, be it culture or physical things like diamonds. The ghettos and slums across the world are filled with broken homes that are producing broken maladjusted people, you should do everything in your power to change that. The easy way is to find a black man or woman who's level headed so you can create a family of your own. Raise your children to love themselves, raise them to care about themselves, and raise them so they can have chance at living a good life so they can continue to do great things for your people and slowly mend those wounds inflicted on your people over the years.
 
Against: our identity is who we are. and we're losing it everyday to more and more bullshit. Most blacks in this country know we come from africa,but if you quizzed them.... niggaz don't know where they come from exactly.....

and even if you do one of those blood thingies.....it's not like you just gonna pull up in nigeria like "cousin!!' and be fully accepted....

we...us...black americans...we have a unique identity and experience that is shared by no other social group on this planet...and as great as we are.. we're constantly under attack.... if it's not prison, it's flat our murder rates....they just don't want us here.....and by diluting ourselves through generations of mixed breeding....we're assisting...

i mean i get you love who you love....but we're dwindling our numbers...and we all know it....and it's jsut not a concern to anyone who's not black.....so yea, while your boo may give a fuck about you...they don't give a fuck about your people becoming extinct......


as a black person...who loves oneself...and loves their people.....you can't afford to not give a fuck....niggaz gotta cut that becky shit out....before we're gone and forgotten....

For:

black folk...yea we have our warriors....and a proud past of physical dominance... but ultimately... we're a peaceful people...

we like music, movies, food, dancing, culture.....as small as we are...our sense of fashion infects the entire world....

our hair.....our bodies...our voices.....our wit...our charm.....we have the best of the best.....

funniest comedians...best musicians.....best athletes

the black is the most imitated and adored social group in the entire world......bar none.....

we are just great....

how does that not attract the affections of the world??

and again what's our end goal?

freedom? unity? peace? harmony?

cuz if that's the case then it shouldn't matter who is with who...cuz i mean....we know why they want us... we're the fucking best.....and we're well aware of that...

but we also have our issues...as do all people...and circumstances may lead you to the position where you find someone outside your race who is more observant of the beauty you have inside than those immediately around you....

no judgement, but these things happen...and ultimately we're all human.....

we all want to be loved.....

so i'm jsut saying....

if we want freedom...equality, harmony, peace n all that.....why should we stop genuine love... we all want to be loved... that's human nature...

My views on "love" have drastically changed. I try to view most things through a spiritual lense these days. And the dynamics of a male/female realtionship are very important for true spiritual growth. We are incomplete beings separately. Polar opposites. So it is important to find a mate that "completes" you in a way that strengthens your "weaknesses" inherent to you naturally. I dont think that type of bond could be bound by skin color. And as long as you believe you have found someone you can truly become "One" with, make it work.






Now....

Against:

Everything I said in the previous argument is correct IMO. Yall may have heard of the saying "As above, so below." We are a physical representation of that which is present in the Heavens. Man and woman complete each other and bare a child. Father (masculine), Holy Spirit (Feminine), and the son (fruit of the union)

Which, in a perfect world, would be ideal. But we live in an imperfect world.....

Racism has played a large part in a our history. So much so, that the Most High commanded the Isrealites to stick to their own kind (didn't happen). On the surface, It was because of the possibility of the wives of these other nations influencing their husbands to forget their heritage....

But even in the common area, I think the discconect in shared experiences would make it VERY difficult to actually become "One" with someone of another race to keep it short.

If I did have an issue, it would be these black celebs wit the perception that you need a white person on your arm to validate your status once you made it.

Some celebs you can kinda tell that if it wasn't for their celebrity status, the white person they are with wouldn't give them the time or day. But that's just my opinion

I can only see myself with a black woman so this doesn't apply to me. It isnt pitty its devotion. I think black men should be devoted to finding black love is all.
I dont belive in the 1 or soulmates, so what I can find elsewhere I can find with black women, so why not choose a sister.
