The older more traditional ones, sure. I don't think the younger ones give a fuck. I doubt the Japanese government is pushing for anything like this, but every dude I know that's spent a lot of time in Japan says they are very receptive towards black dudes if you know where to go. Black women don't seem to have as easy a time there though.

This has nothing to do with Passport bro shit. I'm not even sure why you'd take it that way. I'm not talking about sex work shit. I'm talking about the openness that younger women are to dating and marrying a black man.
As far as "they love us in the right areas," that's not what I'm saying. If you're somewhere like Tokyo where the society is more modern and has a younger more open base, the way they behave towards foreigners is going to be different than if you're in some little country town with a bunch of old people who have never even seen a black person.

As for the other stuff, I take it with a grain of salt if its from people who went over there but dont speak the language. Cuz I thought it was a given that this younger generation is more open minded, but usually fold from pressure relatives might put on them. Just like in Korea.
But I've seen and read all over the net over the years, they do the fake polite shit, but will say rude shit in Japanese and tourist are non the wiser

I know a few people that were over there for years and are fluent in Japanese. They said some shit like that happened to them, but overall they felt Japan was less racist than the U.S. The general consensus is that if they caught any flack while over there, it was more because they were a foreigner and not specifically because they were black. That's for dudes though. I think it's a little different for chicks. Japan is one of those places where the racists stereotypes of black people (aside from us being violent) work in men's favor but not in women's favor.

I think you're probably right. I think other countries have racists that are every bit as bad as the ones in America, but I don't think any other country has institutionalized racism and ingrained it into the culture as much as America. I also don't think other countries have as many people that are as willing to die on racist hills as America.
