Poll Is This Hip Hop?

I was listening to this the other day. I must have heard this song over 100 times in my life, but I noticed something different; The words rhyme. He's singing in the same manner that 2Pac delivered his rhymes (well, kinda).

I'm pretty sure we can all agree that the beat is Hip Hop, something that The Roots would play, or any other Hip Hop band.

This song has all of the elements of Hip Hop, so what's the verdict?
