Conspiracy theory time: I thought about this last night; what if these fires in Ontario are being set intentionally so that companies getting rejected for AI datacenters here in the US can buy the land for dirt cheap and relocate their projects to Canada.

There are over 800 active wildfires across the country right now and data centers are already being built all over. Canada is the 2nd largest country in the world with less people in it than California. They don't need to burn a bunch of land or displace people to get it done. Wildfires happen very often. Wind blows wherever tf its going to blow.
