Solid introduction but nowhere near a classic. Trilla is my favorite out of his discography though
Never heard the album in it's entirety but I'll say this;
People hate on Ross because he was a Correctional Officer and all he raps about is selling coke.
That may be true but he's excellent with his flow and wordplay and he has the best ear for beats out of anybody in his generation.
I have Deeper Than Rap on CD, I'd consider that a classic.
And all of those Maybach Music songs are classic.

I've said it before and I'll say it again; I prefer East Coast/NYC accents.
Rick Ross doesn't have a Southern accent.
Outkast have Southern accents which takes away from the vocals IMO

Iono where you from but I'm from SC...Ross sound southern as fuck to me...Miami niggas in general just have a certain accent though that's not "country" but definitely southern...Matter fact that applies to most southern folk from a coastal area of they state...The twang a lil different...
