This is a short series on rappers who were at one point dope and either lost their skill or fell out of the conversation. Were they ever considered to be top 3/5 spitters at the time? Not about GOATs, just top 3/5 during the time period you believe they were in their best form.

How good was Method Man? Did he fulfill his potential?

Method Man had next when 36 Chambers came out.

The What with Biggie and How High with Redman came out around the same time. We all thought he had KONY potential, but he didn't deliver.

He's still nice on the mic but he didn't live up to his potential imo.

I thought Tical was a let down, and then 5 years passed by between his 1st and 2nd albums.

Method Man cool but I thought he'd rather be a team player similar to Rasheed Wallace.

Rasheed could have been all time great but didn't want it enough

apart from the topic at hand
Most def agree with the Sheed statement he was a a superstar talent but not super star driven...

I'd say he somewhere Da baby is today, good overall , funny, alot of girl fanbase and can spit but aint saying much
