I think I found the 'Streiht Up Menace' sample???

I caught a little buzz when I heard this tune yesterday, I never noticed it before (though ive only recently really got into jazz) but these piano keys sound very familiar... Is this where 'Streiht Up Menace' took a sample from??? Or is it a reach???

I had a little Google and there is nowhere (that i can find) that credits a sample being used for 'Streiht Up Menace', like its an original piece of music, which it could well be as the music was done by QDII and being Quincey's son I guess he could have taken inspiration and made his own version...

Around the 50sec it kinda popped into my head then the more I listened the more I thought it could be, around 1.20ish I got more convinced... Anyone think theres a connection???

Miles Davis - Freddie Freeloader

Did abit more digging and found this tune, seems this could have been the main sample...

Yeah I was thinking the piano keys at the start of 'Straight Up Menace' were sampled from 'Freddie Freeloader' and 'My Woman' was used/layered through out the whole song, like two samples, sampled in two different parts of the song...

I am pretty sure it's an interpolation, QD3 played the instruments, it's not a direct sample...

Like ABC on OPP...

Streiht Up Menace doesn't have any samples.

Thats what I was also saying, that if there are no samples it sounds like QDIII could have taken inspiration from 'Freddie Freeloader' with the piano and composed an original piece of music... At the same time though it does sound like 'My Woman' could have actually been sampled in the song but just heavily layered... Its just all speculation...
