i think its implied, but theres no black and white lol
imo....you can be hood (from the hood, understand hood rules and regulations, have some sort of connection) and not be in the streets
its plenty hood niggas with 9-5's
street niggas are more so the ones that have settled into their place in society lol.....they live by crime and dont necessarily see or understand another way
not to say certain street niggas dont evolve from that, but the mentality is this is what I do
SN: this reminds me of a convo I had w/ my homeboy on the difference between gangsters and thugs....shit went waaaayyy too deep and was funny to me but that nigga was so serious

Like both of them are hood. Street just means you engage in illegal activity in that same arena. You can be hood and still a everyday square. Being hood is more about the environment you were raised in. The actions you take determine if you street.
