Tha Carter is the fourth studio album by American rapper Lil Wayne. It was released on June 29, 2004, by Cash Money Records and Universal Records.[6] The production on the album was mostly and frequently handled from the Cash Money's former in-house producer Mannie Fresh, before Mannie left the label. The album spawned four sequels: Tha Carter II, Tha Carter III, Tha Carter IV, and the yet to be released Tha Carter V.

Wayne's best album and yes it's a classic. Wayne and Mannie reinvented themselves from lyrics to production. I know BMJR gets a lot of love because Wayne was spittin on it but my favorite track is Cash Money Millionaire.
