Lmaooooooo bro this thread pops up every year man. But this shit is hella cringe and hilarious to me. Dude obviously loves Jay Z, he is mimicking his flow, his body gestures, adlibs, etc.
I just can't do rapper variants mane. Which is why I can't listen to Earthgang (OutKast variant), D Smoke( Kendrick Lamar variant), etc.
I knew it was gonna be Duke
that voice is why he never gonna make it. He gonna have to switch to autotune
. But yooo earthgang sounds exactly like 3k to me and that's why I pay them No mind. I gave that lp 1 run and was like nah. I was just waiting for j.i.d to rap
Variants. HaLmaooooooo bro this thread pops up every year man. But this shit is hella cringe and hilarious to me. Dude obviously loves Jay Z, he is mimicking his flow, his body gestures, adlibs, etc.

Yea i meant worked as in it didn't fail and they had some success..but yea no longevity with clones/variantsI wouldn't say that, it never works for them long-term. Guerilla Black, Shyne, Sacario, Bad Azz (tryna be 2Pac), Action Bronson, none of em are around today. Unless the artist changes up the flow and evolves into a more individual sound, they go bust.
Action Bronson fucked up saying he was better than Ghost and got ran outta rap. Now he's a chef.
Angelous, NOE, Sacario....they were sounding like Hov too
Word, Angelous was the spookiest one. The others had slight changes that could have made them work but Angelous was a pure copyThat Angelous dude was ridiculous especially when he started rhyming over Jay songs. I remember his Blueprint 2 song he dropped and that shit was eery but also clear unless he changed his style he'd never actually make it
