I don't know if this is good or bad yet. If Google is forcing its ways on Fitbit, that's bad because Google hasn't really been all that successful with its wearables. If Google is allowing Fitbit to help it, then that can be good and may lead to Google improving it's wearable game. That said, Google already is behind some of the best looking smartwatches (check the Fossil joints), but their wearable OS is lacking.

You mean people's health data? I'm pretty sure they already have access too that. After all, Fitbits pair with Android phones and there is a Fitbit Android app.
