Ladies if someone is being aggressive and pulling you hair while they are doing it would you make them stop or wait until they are done pay and never come back?
Or what if the stylist messed up you hair? would you still pay?
fellas would you still pay if a dude aint line you up right? or took too much off? or left a baldspot?

at what point do you get up and leave without paying?

Closed mouths don’t get fed.

If a person sits through that shit then gets mad at the end, that’s their fault. Open your FOCKING mouth and say something. If you aren’t liking the style, tell them to fix it before you pay or before she completes the hairstyle. If she’s unwilling to fix it, dip.

I mean,

Speak up.
If someone so chooses to sit through the aggressive styling and not speak up, then they can’t blame anyone. Speak up and tell them how you feel because it’s your hair. If in the end, the style isn’t up to par, they could look into fixing it or coming to some common ground. If the stylist is adamant about not changing the style, I’d leave.

You not gon be rough with my head. Some people don't know how to style/comb/wash natural hair. Ain't gon be snatchin my strands out and snappin the ends of my hair causing unnecessary damage. This is why I'm afraid to let other people touch my hair in the first place.

i've had my lineup fucked up . i still pay, i just make sure never to go back to that barber again.

yup.....happened to me w/ two guys....one I was asking for it cuz it was at his crib.....he did tapers just fine but I asked for a fade one day smh

another dude in a shop tore my line up one time.....never went back to either after those times

this is why we cant keep a hair stylist for my oldest......they all either want to add hair so they can charge some crazy price, or are just unreliable and dodge us all the time

we had one girl that came to the house every other week and did great work.....we purposely overpaid her to try to keep her.....then all of a sudden every time, something came up and she couldnt make it....but later that day we'd see posts of somebody elses head she had done and added 2 feet of bullshit im sure costed $150.....little girls and all

another chick I know that has a shop was good, but mama hated the way she braided/twisted the ends.....when we'd go to take it down the shit would be all tied up and knotted, all the strands got hair in and out of them from other strands, etc.....shit would be a whole days work to get it all out without breaking all her damn hair

she's just been doing it herself lately

It's hard trying to find a great stylist. It's like a diamond in the rough. Once you find him/her, you gotta hold on to em by any means.

Sorry bout your child's hair. I can imagine how difficult it may be to maintain. Gotta take time with it. Lord knows I hate combing mine, plus I've became tender headed as I've aged.

its not that its so difficult, its just the wife works hard for one and never was a "girly girl"..... and also had no experience with black hair whatsoever

through lots of practice and youtube she's come a loooong way and can pretty much do anything now, aside from crazy designs

just takes a lot of time and energy she doesnt always have......sunday is usually hair day and that can be from the time they get up til about 1pm

that's washing, conditioning, separating and combing thru, to styling......when we do get a stylist in it they all mention how well taken care of it is
