Would Cancel Culture gone after Carlin this day in age?

Carlin was all about the nuance of topics and words and repeatedly spoke out against comedians who punched down. Which is basically what people confuse "cancel culture" for being when it comes to comedy nowadays. The lack of ability to insult people or certain groups without pushback. Given his statements on things like that he'd probably be disappointed in alot of newer comics and lean more towards what Katt Williams said on Joe Budden show about comedians blaming cancel culture when in reality they're just not funny without being able to do low brow humor

I like how this is done. Through Carlin’s eyes. Carlin’s narration. Carlin’s whole perspective, with his family mixed in.

I loved that early on, he told it straight. Fuck the variety shows, and the movies. Of course, the acids helped bring that out.

Kinda weird seeing him clean cut as a younger man.
