Funny story in downtown Richmond

So, I went downtown to City Hall earlier today to pay the utility bills on 2 of my parents' houses.

As I'm leaving and walking back to my car, this white hipster dude is riding his bicycle on the sidewalk.

Dude's coming toward me, not directly.........but on my left.

There's a building to the right of him.

As he gets closer, I move more to my left and he almost sideswipes the building.

Now, it wasn't an abrupt move to my left........but just enough so that he could barely get by me.

As he passes me, he says.........in his @Lou Cypher whiteboy voice:

"FUCKING MOVE DUDE!!!!!"

To which I replied: "YOU'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO BE ON THE FUCKING SIDEWALK NIGGA!!!"

After that he just kept riding his bike and didn't have anything else to say.

So now I'm wondering...........did he shut up and keep it moving because he knew I was right?

Or did he keep quiet because I inadvertently made his day by referring to him as nigga?

I was just talking in the heat of the moment and wasn't really thinking about what I was saying, but I definitely didn't want this hipster walking away thinking he's got a hood pass or something because I called him nigga.

Dude might get too comfortable and end up getting duffed out by the next man because of his false sense of pride, and........since I would feel somewhat responsible for that.........I regret calling him the "N-Word."

Makes me sick thinking he's probably gonna run to all his little hipster friends and brag about being called a nigga.

So, white posters of ABW...........how would you feel if you were in this situation?

If you got in a heated exchange with a large black man who called you nigga.........would you feel some twisted sense of pride like you were suddenly "down" or something?

Or would you think nothing of it and just keep it moving?

@deadeye you gotta @ the crackas next time for best results

I grew up in the hood and any hoodly raised white dude would more than likely see you using that word for what it was: an exclamation point on a sentence or a substitute word for person.

More than likely, any other white dude is just gonna be confused. I know this because white dudes have asked me (when they don't feel comfortable asking a black person) why they got called the N word. Their reasoning has been "I'm not black, why would they call me that???"

Never heard of it being taken on as a badge of honor by one of my honkey brethern
