Friday Night Smackdown Thread: 7/5

As noted earlier on PWInsider.com, The New Day vs. Alpha Academy vs. The Street Profits vs. Los Lotharios with the winners challenging The Usos at next month's Extreme Rules PPV has been announced for tonight's Smackdown. There's been a pitch to change that match, placing Imperium and The Brawling Brutes in and pulling Alpha Academy and Los Lotharios out. Last we heard, WWE was leaning in that direction.

We noted yesterday that Damage CNTRL had been added to the creative plans for tonight's broadcast as well. The early word is Bayley will be wrestling tonight.
 
New Day been a jobber team ever since the Uso's beat them multiple times last year. Latharios haven't done nothing to even be in this. The Academy and Profits are over enough to give the Uso's a good match on a throwaway ppv

AA vs Usos would be interesting

SP vs Usos I can watch again

Imperium vs Usos...intriguing. If that trigger gets pulled, you GOTTA have a Walter/Roman feud. May God have mercy on Roman's chest. Geezus!
 
Earlier today we noted there was a pitch to change the Four Way on tonight's Smackdown to determine the top contenders for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships. The match will now be The Brawling Brutes vs. Imperium vs. The New Day vs. Hit Row.

Alpha Academy are backstage at Smackdown

Hit Row shouldn't be in it. Has Alpha Academy ever had a match against the Uso's?
 
Hit Row has starting to get a lil push. Curious to see where this goes.

But I wanna see Imperium.

Matter of fact...ND and HR just need to sit back and let Imperium and BB beat the shyt outta each other unconscious. AND THEN slide in for the pin.
