Oh ok. Explain then? Because that's the vibe I was getting from you mainlyThat's not what I'm saying at all though
It's been a huge discussion in my area. My county and counties nearby have put up flock cameras. They're supposed to be there to get license plates and if there are crimes in the area then it's supposed to help police but people feel it's a huge invasion of privacy and very Big Brother
There are lawsuits

I agree but it's in public places. One should expect only so much privacy in a public area
how is this different from traffic cameras that can send you tickets for running red lights n shit. Havent those been in place for decades now?Still need probable cause or a warrant to track our whereabouts in public; this ain't England.
There are lawsuits for that too because of violating the 6th amendment and due processhow is this different from traffic cameras that can send you tickets for running red lights n shit. Havent those been in place for decades now?

Ijs I understand it from both sidesOh ok. Explain then? Because that's the vibe I was getting from you mainly
I mean you're talking about different types of surveillance though. Home surveillance for protecting your property vs surveillance with driving down the street or walking the sidewalksIjs I understand it from both sides
For what I just paid for this house or rather the loan I got for it, I'm not trying to have no one take my shit or break into it. I also speak from a place of privilege cause I do not live in an area that is prone to crime, which was very intentional among other things I wanted in a new community.
But I would still like to know who took my shit in the event of a burglary and I'm gonna press charges. The sooner they can identify a suspect the better
But everyone can't live where I live. Or maybe they can't afford a decent security camera setup. There's always gonna be a trade off for things in the name of safety imo
I've seen this comment a lot. The whole why do you care if you're getting spied on by something elseIm not with the surveillance shit at all but if we being honest with ourselves.. between home security systems(ring, eufy, nest), cellphones, car cameras..laptops and tablets... companies and the govt already got access to all that shit
dont misunderstand my sentiment. Im not asking why do you care. I care as well. Im just pointing out that the shit is already happeningI've seen this comment a lot. The whole why do you care if you're getting spied on by something else
So because those spy then who cares if another thing gets added
