Does Black Republican hold up today?

Everybody knows the history of Nas and Jay Z. After they called a truce and performed together on stage, it was logical that we get a song from the two. It was one of the selling points of Hip Hop Is Dead. The reception at the time seemed mixed ranging from dope to meh. Me personally I thought it was dope. Since some years have passed does their collaboration still hold up? Has it aged well? Some would say Success was the better song.

Are we comparing it to success or just comparing it to just being a decent song?

It was a good song then and it’s still a good song now

I think ppl just wanted each rapper’s best verses they ever spit to commemorate the end of the beef and since this was like 10-12 years of anticipation
No comparison

While I prefer the Wayne/Juelz version, I actually dig this one also

I think it still holds up
