Does anyone know wtf is up with Quibi? New Streaming Service

Seems to be a mobile only streaming service.... im still not too familiar with how tf this is all supposed to work.

It stands for quick bits. A lot of streaming services will record when a show is paused or stopped and theres been a trend where people will stop something that's an hour long at like 20 mins and continue it later or never watch it again. It's part of the reason why a lot of comedians arent doing specials anymore that are an hour long. They might release 10min bits on youtube or do a 30min set on a series.

Quibi will be a streaming service where all of the content will be like 10-20 mins long.

Reno 911! Is being revived with the original cast on quibi and they said all episodes will be 10ish or 20ish mins

Pretty interesting concept.. I wouldn't have gotten that from any of the trailers that they have. None of those shows seem to be on some short form storytelling from the trailers..

Interested to see how this plays out.. and the quality of the shows
 
I read that a big part of their projected audience was to be the commuter crowd that used public transportation but of course Rona has fucked that all up.
 
cant seem to find any of these shows and it doesn't seem to be available outside of the US and Canada even if I did want to watch it via the app.

I've checked a few shows from quibi...

and the quality is there...some decent stories being told but damn... the lack of promotion has been TERRIBLE

They was promoted the hell outta it just a month or 2 ago, but yeah I haven't seen one in a min.
 
Haven't peeped anything yet, but the concept seems interesting. If anything it makes you want more
 
The only shows I watched was the one with kevin hart and the one with dude barricaded in the apartment dealing with the police
 
I watched FreeRayshawn, Survive, Kevin Harts joint and Flipped.

I didnt watch any of them on quibi tho ?

It wasnt available outside of the US... I tried lol
