Usually the ones flashing are niggas that live at home with parents that allow them to spend two whole checks on an mcm bag. People who get fast money. Lol majority of which don’t know how to save or invest. I don’t expect much from these people

There's an argument that negates Tyrese's whole point. I'm gonna wait to see if someone else see's it.

I thought they dressed like that because they were nerds who became rich nerds. If you weren't worried about dressing up before I doubt you would care much with a billi. I clicked no though because its Tyrese lol

They always post some fake woke shit like this and their examples are wealthy people that dont care about fashion. Last time I checked, these luxury brands weren't invented to sell to niggas. All they gotta post is something about wasting money on name brand things, when you got a fucked up standard of living.

Well homes and art can be sold for a profit in a pinch. You're not going see a return on anything made by Gucci.

But I'm not the type to judge what a person spends their money on.

That's exactly what I was about to post. Homes, rare art, classic vehicles don't depreciate in value if kept in good condition. Most smart and wealthy people buy those things not just because they like them but also because it can be an investment.

Yea exaggeration, generalizing, and only seeing absolutes is kind the social media MO

BINGO. Real estate and paintings are investments.

Older exotic or classic cars can be as well, but you gotta be a bit more careful with them 'cause not all of them appreciate.

Run of the mill Lamborghini Countach's were going for $80-$120K 15 years ago. Now you'd be hard pressed to find one for under $300K and the older the car the more expensive (there' a fully restored '76 Countach LP400 on the Dupont Registry clocking in at over $1M right now).

The used car dealers and brokers are telling them, "this is a future classic" to get that commission off a sale. When in reality no one knows what random car is going to spike in value till it starts to happen for w/e reason. Can think back to like around 05 when muscle cars were going for 6 figures and sometimes into 7 figures, because of rich baby boomers. Then people came to their sense a few years later and the market tanked lol.

There's a difference between the intended audience buying luxury brands versus run of the mill niggas with a few dollars.

Some years ago, there was a well known adage about owning a Bentley versus owning a Rolls Royce: "A Bentley is a car to be driven, a Rolls Royce is a car to be driven in." In other words, you buy a Rolls when you're at the point where you can afford not to drive yourself around. You get a chauffeur for that.

Marquee names have a heritage, and the truly wealthy will know the heritage of whatever it is they're buying. They don't buy it just because it's expensive like common niggas do, they buy it to own a piece of that heritage.

Those were easily fooled idiots. Exotics, even domestic exotics like the Ford GT, will go through a period of depreciation (i.e. there was a point in time where you could buy a clean, low miles Ferrari Testarossa for $70K-$80K), then will spike in price.

Muscle cars won't appreciate until loooooong after their heyday because there will be so few examples of them left unless they were fairly rare to begin with (i.e Ford SVO Mustang, Buick Grand National and GNX, Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme 442 and Hurst/Olds, etc). A car enthusiast knows this, niggas with money don't.
