Jay Z is a dope MC and his strength is in creating hits.

Don't get me wrong Nas is the superior MC, but he can't go hit for hit against Hov.
 
It ain't all about hits in a Verzuz. If the playlist ain't hitting, anyone could get got. Jay could play all those singles, and Nas could counter with the shit the hood would fuck with, then it becomes a toss up.

For example: Jay could play "Big Pimpin" and Nas counters with "It Ain't Hard to Tell." Who do you think gets that round?
 
Even with strength vs. strength, I think it would still be a draw. Nas may have longer list to chose from because of the better maturation as an artist.

For me and you It aint Hard to tell wins that 11 out of 10 times. For the mass public? Its probably big pimpin
 
Wouldn't even be that close imo after the super classics from Illmatic and IWW, about 6 tracks or so, it'd be a Jig sweep

These are Hov’s top songs on Amazon. These joints might get off against a verzuz against Drake but Nas? Nah. Nas would smoke this.
