I think we can all agree that Rappers/MCs have better business acumen than R&B singers.
But what about comedians? They start off in comedy clubs in their hometown and eventually get their own comedy specials on HBO or Showtime or whatever. Eventually they move up to acting and we can all name several comedians that are A-list actors (e.g. Jamie Foxx, Kevin Hart, Mike Epps, Chris Rock, Martin Lawrence, Chris Tucker).
It seems like R&B singers are the least likely to move up to starring in their own movies.
And then there's athletes. The best athletes retire around 36 years old. I hear about athletes doing positive things for the community, mores than rappers and MC. I guess since athletes can't do drugs they stay clean and stay out of trouble.
Add on.
