This album was released on October 23rd 2001, this was his 4th studio album. This album received mixed reviews at the time of its release. Let’s see how this album plays out today.

Track 1. Sometimes, an acapella spoken word track. Solid intro.

Track 2. School Street, produced by Dame Grease. X is shouting out his friends and associates who he grew up with. Solid track 6.5/10

Track 3. Who We Be featuring Dustin Adams, co produced by Black Key and Melvin Armstead. I didn’t like this song back in the day but I like it now. This was the 2nd single. Solid track. 7/10

Track 4. Trina Moe, produced by Dame Grease. The first bad song. (“I’m about to get in that ass nigga AYO”, at least he paused himself) 4/10

Track 5. We Right Here, produced by Black Key. This was the first single. This was a dope song and by far the best song on here so far. 7.5/10

Track 6. Bloodline Anthem featuring Dia, produced by Kidd Kold. This song is awful. Might be the worst song of X’s career. 1/10

Track 7. Shorty Was da Bomb, produced by Dame Grease. A storytelling song about a woman he had a one night stand with who got pregnant. This is kinda ehh to me. This would’ve been doper on a better beat. 5.5/10

Track 8. Damien III, produced by PK. I always liked the concept of these songs. It exhibits X’s storytelling ability. I just don’t like this beat. Ruins a potentially great song. 5.5/10

Track 9. When I’m Nothing featuring Stephanie Mills, co produced by Dame Grease and Black Key. This song samples Whatcha Gonna Do With My Lovin by Mills. I like this one. No complaints. 7/10

Track 10. I Miss You featuring Faith Evans, produced by Kidd Kold. This was the 3rd and final single from this album. Song about X’s grandmother that passed away. I like this one. 7.5/10

Track 11. Number 11, produced by PK. This beat is not good. X is spitting but it’s ruined by this trash beat. 4/10

Track 12. Pull Up Skit, I’ll Be Around by The Spinners plays in the background which leads into the next song.

Track 13. I’ma Bang, produced by Swizz Beatz. This beat is not good. A theme of this album. Imagine if this was the Ruff Ryders Anthem beat? Exactly. 4.5/10

Track 14. Pull Out Skit, I’ll Be Around plays once again.

Track 15. You Could Be Blind featuring Mashonda, produced by Swizz Beatz. Solid song nothing I’d revisit but I’ll take what I can get with this album at this point. 6.5/10

Track 16. The Prayer IV, X gives an impassioned prayer.

Track 17. A Minute For Your Son, produced by Swizz Beatz. This features songs in one track. The first song is dope and one of the better songs on here, then it showcases a freestyle from X’s Bloodline artists hosted by DJ Kay Slay. Then it goes into a track featuring Drag On and Mysonne. Then a track with Mic Geronimo. I don’t understand why these weren’t their own individual tracks. All the tracks on here were dope. I’ll rate it as a 8/10

This album was a step down from his previous 3 albums, and we were seeing the mainstream decline of X at this point. The game had changed so much in such a short time between And Then There Was X to this. He needed to evolve with the times. There were some good songs on here but nothing most people would go back to listen to consistently. I’ll give this album a 6.5/10

I loved this album and think its actually mad underrated...

This up there with one of X's best songs imo...

Before he died I was hoping he could put out like an autobiographical/concept album with tracks like this and 'Slippin'...

I remember when I got this album when I was in Connecticut visiting family....I played it multiple times on the back home....decent album definitely needed better beats
