They dont need midget actors though. Look at the lord of the rings and hobbit movies. They took regular sized men and shrunk them down to midget size . Look at the dwarves in the hobbit movies how they used prosthetics to give their features and silly cartoony. Disney could've did the sake thing. I dont like too much cgi. The dwarves movements look weightless and it feels like they really aren't part of the scenery. Its just technically its snow who who cares the kids will love it I'm just not feeling the cgi for the dwarves much with the animals its fine.
