Disney to assume full operations of HULU immediately

disney buys a streaming service ... when they about to launch a streaming service??

does that mean the disney streaming app will be launched via hulu?

disney taking over the world, and everybody associates them with kids fun magic, and harmless shit...

south park was right all along

No, but this is too much power for one company to have. This is not a good thing at all.

They were already majority owners because of the Fox deal. Now they're just running the show and can buy out Comcast in 2024.

Disney is taking full control of Hulu from Comcast, as both companies prepare to launch their own streaming services in response to declining audiences for traditional TV.

The companies said Tuesday that Comcast, which owns a third of Hulu, can sell its stake to Disney starting in 2024, for a minimum of $5.8 billion. Until then, Comcast will be a silent investor.

Disney's deal with Comcast isn't surprising. Disney had already become the majority owner of Hulu when it absorbed Fox's stake as part of its purchase of Fox's entertainment businesses .

Shit, Disney just playing catch up with the other ones like Comcast, Viacom, and AT&T
Its all bad. Comcast and Viacom are trash companies. I have Comcast cable and the only other company I hate as much is EA. This kills competition. Soon Disney will just be competing with themselves. Where are the monopoly laws to stop these big companies from buying up everything?

Att about to pull their shit from Netflix

They own Friends, Big bang theory and a buncha other cracker shit

I already own subscribe to hulu so if they just turn hulu into disney+ I'm cool. If not, then fuck. Hulu needs more shows in their library anyways. Too many dumbass reality shows and the networks that do have shows on there dont always put their best shows up.

Interesting that NBC will have to sell their shares. I wonder why. They are one of the networks I check for on hulu, will suck if they remove them from the library.
