We all know, after Napster and other free downloading services the music industry changed completely and became less profitable, sales went down dramatically, etc.
Now with streaming services like Tidal, Apple and Spotify the numbers are getting closer to what they used to be.
Currently 1500 streams = 1 album sale.
I've seen people say "that's cheating" and it the amount of streams to equate to 1 sale should be higher.
I've also heard people like Jada in this interview say that the number should be lower and it's like new age slavery:
Video is set to start at the mark he says it:
Do you feel it's cheating and the number should be higher?
Is it robbery and the number should be lowered?
or is it about right?
