Almost 2 years later which album is better. People had Kenny as a lock for AOTY when DAMN dropped, but 4:44 hit and the debate was on. Which do you prefer. Which album gets more play from you. What do you rank them?
The album was nothing but substance. The album was full of black empowerment raps. It created a conversation centered around creating generational wealth. I dunno if it will last but it created the conversation.
I thought 4:44 was Jay's most introspective album. DAMN was a bit of a let down with the wack out-of-character tracks he put on there - Yah, Love, and Loyalty.
