SOC is a little on the short side to me. I love that album in retrospect, but I can go as far as saying Efil4Zaggin is better. All that being said, this is hella close. SOC definitely aged better, but NOM had a personal impact on me. I remember as a kid hearing Terminator X and Night of the Living Baseheads before I even knew who Public Enemy was and losing my mind. All the best songs on SOC are its biggest hits. There's a lot of hidden gems in NOM (She Watches Channel Zero, Louder Than A Bomb), plus Caught, Can I Get A Witness has one of my favorite vocal samples ever. NOM for preference, SOC for impact.
