In the 2nd installment of this series, we look to see if In Living Color would be a success on today's airwaves...

(Note: we're not focusing on the failed attempted reboot FOX tried a year ago, just the original idea)

In Living Color (1990-1994, 147 episodes)

Premise: A majority-black comedy sketch show, that poked fun at current society with very interesting characters and sketches.

I love the outtake where Jim Carey is the reporter spending the night with Anton. Jim takes the pickle out and eats it, lol.

In another Anton drinks the piss (pickle juice) and Jim does his signature gag, lol.

But what made ILC special is that they joked about everything and everyone.

The writing the characters and jokes were all witty and creative

Thats why it would have to be OG cast. Damon, Jamie, David A Greer, Tommy Davidson, Jim Carrey, and let Shawn & Marlon on too.

Apples and oranges. There is a difference between people saying a movie won't succeed and people protesting and advertisers pulling their money. This shit wouldn't work, period.

Just look at comedians. We've seen Dave Chapelle, Chris Rock, Kevin Hart, and pretty much every other black comedian catch major heat over jokes that weren't half as bad as some of the shit on ILC.
