I remember seeing a Tim Westwood interview and he said he had every show on DAT tape going back for like 20+ years. He said there were so many tapes that it was starting to be a problem. He was running out of space to store them.
So him and his team went over every tape and listened to them. They decided to throw away all the tapes where he was just playing music. They kept all the shows where they had a guest that did an interview or a freestyle.
