How is this a classic?

Undisputably Classic.

Legendary bars from Q Tip, Jarobi, Consequence and Busta especially.

Every guest on there including 3stacks was rapping rapping

They got a song on there with Elton John and it slaps lol

Amazing production

And it was the last Tribe album. R.I.P to Phife

I'm going to be listening to this album in my 70s and 80s

Good album but shit kinda came and went. No impact whatsoever

What I remember most is Q-Tip ranting on camera against the Grammys and starting off by saying bismillahirrahmanirrahim

It no classic commercially but honestly its a hiphop classic that should be remembered in time.

Im not even a big tribe fan but this was their best album to me. So the best album from a legendary hiphop group.

-Busta killin throughout
-3stacks feature
-Kanye feature
-Kendrick feature
-Elton John feature
-2 Phife Dawg tribute tracks
-Dis Generation great track from the OGs saluting the new class

Its just honestly a great album. I cant think of a better candidate for classic hip hop album in recent years

Dope album..I remember it came out the day of a church bus trip... Shit was fire

when this album first came out i didn’t want to listen to it because i just assumed it would be some half-assed bullshit

i finally got around to it during covid lockdown, and i couldn’t believe how good it was. ive played this album consistently for the last four years.

personally for me its a classic. it restored the old feeling, had great features and musically was a breath of fresh air, but i understand many people will not feel that way
