Brand ban: LIV golfers told no logos at BMW PGA
The DP World Tour has asked the LIV Golf players scheduled to compete in the BMW PGA Championship to refrain from wearing LIV logos on their clothes and told them they won't be required to play in the pro-am, according to an email obtained by ESPN.

To be fair, Tolkein was a racist and absolutely wouldn't have wanted any of the elves to be portrayed as black, so the people complaining aren't wrong that this is a violation of the source material. That said, if the creator of the source material was a racist and you want to uphold his racist reasoning, that makes you a racist too.
