You know the cancelling aspect of this is really hiding the real problem. Everyone is arguing about whether or not Scott Adams deserved to be cancelled. The real problem is that Rasmussen put out a bullshit poll seemingly for the sole purpose of stirring trouble. They knew some racist idiot would pick it up and run with it to start a shit storm. That's exactly what happened. We always get caught in trying to destroy the exposed bigot that we look right past the fact that there are forces out there whose sole goal is to cause strife for profit.
