Apparently Burt Reynolds loved Norm’s impersonation so much he called him, and they made plans for a ‘Jeopardy’ skit where Reynolds would show up, toss ‘Turd Ferguson’ off the set, takeover his spot at the podium, and then be an even bigger dumbass than TF. Unfortunately Norm got the boot from SNL before they could do it. He did however end up playing Reynolds’ character’s son, on “My Name Is Earl”.
