Bob Einstein, the Emmy-award winning actor who had a recurring role in “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” has died after battling cancer, his representative confirmed to the Daily News. He was 76.
The actor and comedian was best known for his role as Marty Funkhouser, Larry David’s pal, on the HBO show. He also starred as the stuntman Super Dave Osborne, for which he won a CableACE Award. In 2017, he was featured on Jerry Seinfeld’s “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee.”
Einstein’s brother, Albert Brooks, is also an actor, best known for his performance in the 2011 film “Drive.”
