So these bum ass police had the scammer on the phone and didn't try to trace the call or lure him somewhere or do anything besides tipping him off and straight up telling them they were the police?

But even so, none of that shit matters because dude still needs to fry for shooting that woman - all that scammer shit is a whole different case.
