Rogen has released the official Black Monday poster on his Twitter, as well as a 30-second teaser for Showtime’s upcoming comedy series. You can check out the full poster in the gallery as well as the video below!



Black Monday, stars and is executive produced by Emmy nominated and Golden Globe winning actor Don Cheadle (Avengers: Infinity War) alongside two-time Tony Award nominee and Grammy winner Andrew Rannells (Girls) and Regina Hall (Girls Trip).

Black Monday takes viewers back to October 19, 1987 — aka Black Monday, the worst stock market crash in the history of Wall Street. To this day, no one knows who caused it… until now. It’s the story of how a group of outsiders took on the blue-blood, old-boys club of Wall Street and ended up crashing the world’s largest financial system, a Lamborghini limousine, and the glass ceiling.

The series was created by David Caspe (Happy Endings) and Jordan Cahan (My Best Friend’s Girl), who will serve as executive producers and showrunners. Emmy nominees Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg (Preacher, Superbad), who will also executive produce, directed the pilot.

Black Monday also stars Paul Scheer (The League), Yassir Lester (Making History), Horatio Sanz (Glow), Michael James Scott (Aladdin on Broadway) and Eugene Cordero (Kong: Skull Island), with recurring guest star Casey Wilson (Happy Endings) and guest stars Ken Marino (Wet Hot American Summer), Kurt Braunohler (Bunk), Bruce Dern (Big Love), Melissa Rauch (The Big Bang Theory), Julie Hagerty (Airplane), Kadeem Hardison (A Different World), Eugene Cordero (Kong: Skull Island), Vanessa Bell Calloway (Shameless), Tim Russ (iCarly), and Jason Michael Snow (The Book of Mormon).

Black Monday a co-production between Showtime and Sony Pictures Television Studios, will premiere on Sunday, January 20, 2019, with ten episodes
 
Just peeped first episode. Show is fucking dope. I didnt know what to expect but don Cheadle is fucking awesome in this. Whoever did the music did a great job Too. Really funny Too. Definitely gonna be checking out for more.
 
I just watched 1st ep on hulu like 10mins ago too lol

It was iiight.

The white guy Blair is real stiff and corny im not feelin his character at all.

Don Cheadle is really dope in the projects he picks IMO. I seen the first episode of this around Xmas time and I'll be tuning in again for the remainder of it.

Im still mad House of Lies never got a proper ending

looks like if his other show on Showtime House of Lies, was set in the 80s and thats not a bad thing at all

dope ass soundtrack and this looks like a fun show that will have serious undertones as it progresses

Im pretty sure they want Blair to be that way for the moment. He is an exaggerated straight edge white guy. Type of dude that always seems cheerful and says "have a great day!" to everyone. As the show progresses Im sure we are going to see him get corrupted by wallstreet and probably be one of the more fucked up characters of the show haha.
