How do you take care of yourself and keep your peace knowin’ the world’s so wicked?

****, I keep busy, man. Like, I’m not on the road? I’m bein’ daddy, I’m being a husband, I’m bein’ a philanthropist or runnin’ my Big Kids foundation. I got Stankonia Studios: we stay in a steady recording process, so if we’re not on the road, we’re in the studio at least five days a week. We got a vault full of music, man: me and Sleepy Brown workin’ on a record right now. We formed a group called The Big Sleepover, we’re like six songs in, man. It’s produced by Organized Noize, and it’s me and Sleepy Brown all the way down, man, and we’re gonna drop that **** in a couple months and keep it movin’.

from a great Big Boi interview from Vinylmeplease:

Hopefully, he has some good features from the rest of the DF. I'm all for a mostly Big Boi album, but it would be nice to hear from them other dudes too.

I listened to the whole album, and I really like it. I'm not going to review it really, but I'll share some insight.

If you're an Outkast or a Big Boi fan, you'd probably around that around 20-30% of each of those albums consisted of songs that either featured Sleepy Brown or sounded like something that Sleep Brown could be on. This album is about 80% songs like that. So if those songs are your favorite songs on Outkast albums, then you'll probably love this album. If those songs are the ones you always skip on Outkast albums, then you probably won't care for this album too much. For me personally, those songs are typically cool, but they aren't my favorite tracks on any album. So I liked this album, but I wouldn't say it's my favorite work from Big Boi. That said, the quality is high and even if you're not a big fan of Sleepy Brown, there are a few songs that don't feature him too heavily that are very good.
