On the west side, The spurs made amends for flopping the previous year and got to another finals. Memphis and The Clippers met again. Lastly, this was the debut of the next dynasty of the nba, Golden State.They put up a decent fight against SA in the semis. It was a simpler time.
Eastern Conference 1st round: (4) Brooklyn vs (5)Chicago (Chi wins 4-3)
Bills built up a 3-1 lead, including a triple OT win in game 4 in which Bilfiger’s 2nd favorite player Nate Robinson dropped 23 in the 4th. Nets won the next to force a game 7 in Brooklyn, which an injury depleted Chicago team won on the road.
