Alright time for the next year in the best playoff series tourney: 2011

This was the first playoff run of the newly formed Miami Heat. Chicago ended up with the best record league wide and had league MVP Derrick Rose. However they got washed in 5 in the East finals.

On the west side, Dallas finally put it all together and finished off a finals run after years of early exits. OKC and Memphis put together a classic 7 game series. Memphis also won their 1st playoff series ever in upset fashion.

In the finals, Dallas pulled off the upset beating Miami in 6 games. Dirk silenced the critics and solidified his HOF career with his performance, winning finals MVP.

Western Conference 1st Round: (1) San Antonio vs (8) Memphis (Memphis wins 4-2)

Memphis had not won a single playoff game in franchise history, let alone a series. Somehow they were able take down the top seed in the West.

Western Conference Semis: (8) Memphis vs (4) Oklahoma City (OKC wins 4-3)

The first of a few playoff battles between these 2 teams. Game 4 went to triple overtime.

NBA Finals: (3)Dallas vs (2) Miami (Dallas wins 4-2)

Everybody but Heat fans wanted them to fail. Dallas came back from 15 down in the 4th to steal home court in game 2. Bron only had 8(!) points in game 4. Jason Terry, Jason Kidd, and JJ Barea were bombing from 3 in game 5.

Only things I remember from that series

Rio hitting that halfcourt buzzer beater, Rio and or UD getting into it with deshawn Stevenson, lebron having 8, them losing which snatched finals MVP from wade, dirk hitting that back breaker shot in game 6,
