Great intro- immediately became relevant despite the deep cut character
Great casting- dude was perfect. The family had great chemistry too. Best Foster family ever
Good action- not as epic as some of the bigger movies, but the job was accomplished in showing how strong homie can potentially be
Effective world building- the magic doors leading to different realms was teased. And two to comic book villains were teased. That's 3 different directions the sequel could go in. It it could use all three and really have a packed next movie. Left us wanting more.
