alot of folks use it as a source of news. Bluesky wasnt really a viable alternative if people werent willing to go over there. Seems like more and more folks are making the jump though. Theres probably gonna be some crossposting between the two for a bit but if people actually commit to leaving Twitter altogether then Bluesky will prolly take off.
