Delroy Lindo taking up the mantle of Mr. Nancy(Anansi) from American Gods. This adaptation apparently wont have anything to do with the Starz version which im happy about cuz they really fucked up the best part of that show by getting rid of Orlando Jones

I read both. As far as I can tell, there's no connection between the two stories. The writer just happened to use Anansi as a character in both books. They tell very different stories though. I think Anansi Boys will translate to TV a little better than American Gods did.
