CYOL Draft
The draft is divided into 2 portions. In the first portion the players with the LEAST points go first (low to high) and get to select any 5 artists they want that have not been auctioned and/or owned by another player. This is done until all the players have gone. In the second portion of the draft the orders are reversed and the players with the most points go first and can select any artist they want for 10 mil each until their cash is gone or until they choose to stop.
RULES
- Be respectful of other players and do not purposely hold up the draft.
- You can select any artist in the draft, INCLUDING artists that are not on the list (as long as they aren't already owned by another player). This means you can select artists from any genre as long as they are alive.
- If a player ahead of you selects an artist you wanted, that artist cannot be picked.
- Selecting a group counts as one slot, meaning you still have 4 additional slots in the 5 man pick up or second portion of the draft. If you select a group but another player has one of the members, you will only get the other members, you won't get the artist that's already owned. For example, if you choose the The Neptunes but another player owns Pharrell, you will only get Shad and Nigo you will NOT get Pharrell.
- If you have under 10 mil but greater than 4 mil you may use the cash to buy an artist in the second portion of the draft.
- You may stop drafting at any time, you are not required to select 5 artists in the 5-man pick up you may select less if you desire.
