Want to be a mod?

Now is your chance to throw your name into the hat.

Criteria is as follows:

-Must have been a member here for at least 6 months prior to today
-Must be an active poster
-Must display the traits and qualities we are looking for in moderators

This thread will be used to gauge the interest, and a separate thread will be created to let the community decide who they want as a mod. The mod will hold this position for 6 months before they have to run again if they desire to, or this will give some others an opportunity to put their name in the hat.

The winner will also get a "People's Mod" banner and get to mod an area of the site. You will be the primary go to things for issues that may arise in that area of the forum, but will work in concert with a current mod should they need to step in and provide some help. You will be tasked with maintaining the threads, moving/deleting posts, etc...

You will have to answer a series of questions then let the members vote. Their vote counts, but the votes of the current staff will count as well. This will be a FAIR process. There won't be any colluding or anything like that.

Let's have fun with this though. Wanna throw mud on your opponents names? gon head...get creative.

Gonna leave this open for a couple of days to give people an opportunity to sign up. I hope to start elections first thing monday.

With that being said...good luck

Nominees:
Chi-Town B
Chicity
Cain
Sam Crooke
Joshua Sanchez
IP360
BHL (im not typing ya current name)

Ain't nobody doing this popularity contest, why don't the mods huddle up and decide among yourselves

brah

we trying to let the people who are members here have a say in stuff. Instead of the same ol shit on the IC where it was "how that person got to be a mod"...this will be as open as as process as possible.

you gon participate or not

c'mon now

for now, the people's mod will change every six months

however, we are discussing ideas to deal with current mods

Is there a chance that they can become permanent?

Why are they the only ones who get a six month run?

What happens if they end up MIA like our previous "people's mod"?
