Police in Texas shot and killed a 15-year-old boy trying to leave a house party.
Jordan Edwards died after an officer fired multiple rounds at the car he was riding in, officials in Balch Springs, a Dallas suburb, said Sunday. The car was carrying four other teenagers, who were trying to leave the party after cops arrived.
Police in Balch Springs admitted Monday that the car had been driving away when an officer shot at it with a rifle, reversing their original account of the shooting. Initially, police claimed that the vehicle had been backing up toward officers in “an aggressive manner.”
The officer involved, who hasn’t been identified, has been placed on administrative leave.

so moving out the way ain't an option?

like why do officers HAVE to go for the kill?

i mean unless you have working knowledge that this person is armed and dangerous.....and it has been confirmed that is who you're pursuing.....why the fuck are you firing your gun at niggaz trying to get away.....??

fleeing arrest is not punishable by death....if the nigga get away,.....fuck it he got away

you gotta kill somebody cuz you hate to lose?

All of this, but also wtf was the cop trying to accomplish, shooting at a car isn't gonna stop the person driving especially if they aren't doing anything wrong, it'll do the exact opposite in most cases......

They were not even fleeing arrest. Someone called the cops for underage drinking. So they did like most kids and left.

the chief said that the officers actions did not represent their core values.....

i think that's as close to admitting fault as we'll ever get

But will charges be brought up
i don't see how they can't when the police chief made a stance like that....

he didn't defend the officer at all...and i'm quite sure he didn't come to that decision on his own at all....he's prolly being told to distant himself....

i'm thinking we're going to get that public example on this one....dude bout to get hammered with 100 years of police brutality all in one case......

administrative leave is just vacation. i hate how they do this.

naw it ain't.....

administrative leave is the worse shit in the world after an incident, cuz all u worried about is that phone call to see if you still got a job or not....

and that's for regular people who ain't break no laws...

that dude ain't chilling, he at home sweating bullets waiting to see if his life is over or not yet.....and i guarantee that statement from the police chief just made him sick...

dud prolyl on suicide watch

The chief originally said the car was backing into the officer so I don't think the Chief is a good guy.

my boy was on admin leave for a whle month after some shit that happened at our last site... i was never on admin leave, but i was given a lotta leadway to not really work

trust me, that shit is unnerving as fuck

they not doing the thug spin....
they doing the good kid spin....
pics of him smiling all in the media....
talking about the vigil at his school....where he was well liked....
chief reached out to the parents personally to offer his condolences.....

i don't know if it's fear that them dallas niggaz will wild out.....or the evidence is just too damning to twist...

but this is different...this cop is going down

All of this over a teenage drinking complaint. A straight A teenage young man lost his life because a person that was there to protect and serve killed him for leaving a party that police were called to shut down. How do we teach our kids to avoid this?
