Drake ft did take Migos song to the top. It was a decent regional hit and the remix blew it to the top and became the standard version when you hear that song. They from around here and when they got the Drake ft everybody went crazy.

Drake pulled a Jay-z. Migos had a hit that was climbing fast, Drake heard it, knew it was going up & jumped on the remix. After that they only played the remix with Drake.
To be fair Drake might of exposed them to more ears early in Migos career.

While they were probably on their way buzzing in the underground circuit, the Drake feature pushed them faster and wider beyond ATL/Down South region, and even nationally for that matter. Drake took them to international heights (Canada, UK+)

Ight yall need to relax a lil. Versace was bigger than ATL by the time Drake got on it. In fact it was all over America & the internet. When I first heard the original, I wasnt in ATL & the person who put me on to it was a kid in Cali.

I think to casuals and people that wasn't into the migos (me) this is definitely true.
Being on hip hop forums I probably came across a song or two and forgot them 10 seconds after.
Matter o fact even after they got bigger I still couldn't even tell them ninjas apart and was very surprised other people could.
