I’d agree, but I’d make it so players can’t hold up the game for as long as they do. Or stop the clock if whatever’s happening on the field is taking too long to resolve.

I do like that they don’t end it until the ball isn’t in active play so to speak. They don’t stop play in the heat of competition.

Football is fine the way it is. Theres no need to tinker with anything lol. Stopping the clock is some woke shit. Its bad enough we're getting hydration breaks so it seems like we have 4 quarters
 
All things considered, Mexico punched above their weight. I would say like half their lineup had dudes who play professionally in Mexico. Barely any players in Europe
