Lol Xbox already confirmed going digital....it was already written when they dropped the digital ps5 and Xbox series s....neither console will sell that good when they drop because it's gonna be way too expensive

I’ll keep it a buck with ya.. if your an adult a $900 console shouldn’t make or break you if thats what you choose to spend your money on.. many of us have other wants/hobbies that probably cost more then that.. and there’s nothing wrong with saving till you have it. I don’t like the whole no disk thing even though I go digital 90% of the time but thats a personal option and not just one decided for us from a manuf. unless there’s some kind of wow category of games available for the ps6 early Ill probably pass until their is.. got bamboozled into getting a ps5 shortly after launch and wasn’t much wow factor games out.

Neither should anything else cell phone… surround sound, tv, a bunch of electronic etc…..

Do I wanna pay that much absolutely not but when the times comes if I want it, ima get it may not just be right away.

As for the disc shit I dont buy disc's anymore but dont think they should get rid of em.

I probably won't get right away either. Unless some crazy game drops. Which im sure will be playable on ps5 just like how this Gen started games for the 1st few years were on ps4

You have options with a cell phone, surround sound, tv, and a bunch of other electronics

It's Xbox, Sony, and Nintendo for consoles. Not even close to the same comparison
 
You have the option of not buying it… or just keeping the previous model and gaming on that. It’s not like your going from a ps6 down to an Atari level of gaming Ps5/Xbox series S/X will still hold its weight for years to come.

Everything is expensive and overpriced these days!!!

You can use the older models, and yes, they’re still as good, but at some point they’ll stop giving them updates rendering them useless.

The ps4 came out over 12 years ago and only just recently stopped getting major new games.

Ps4 games still work on em fine.

You want the new shit cop the new consoles

Only problem this gen is where as consoles go down they all went up in price making people who waited obsolete as if you bout it when it dropped you actually made out.

Previous console have still been supported for a while…. Yea eventually you’ll learn to do without the latest and greatest or eventually upgrade. It is what it is.

So these suckas have been running scared and have not posted since the backlash. Its said that the are waiting for Xbox layoffs tomorrow to come out of hiding, but this is not going away. Some of their devs have talked to people anonymously and said that Sony expected some push back, but this was bigger than they expected. They have also been exposed for lying about the digital vs physical. People have been posting the information from the Insomiac breech which showed that a lot of games sold better on disc vs digital for that same game or sold at least 40% disc.

Sony has been caught deleting those messages as it exposes that their 85% digital claim includes digital content only vs physical with over 6,000 games being digital only vs less than 1,000 games that are actually on disc. These clowns just want to control prices and are being sued in several countries right now because of their shady business practices. Some countries are even trying to get them to open up PlayStation to third party store fronts.

This is what I noticed since their announcement. On Amazon GTA6 has dropped from #3 all the way to #25. This is a direct result of Sony's announcement and the PS5 disk model is the only console in the top 100 on Amazon at #19. while the digital base and pro are both out of it. GTA6 will of course be huge, but it won't give Sony the boost in sales that they expected and no disc may actually hurt the earning potential of the game and obviously future games. I would expect GTA6 to stop in the top 5 the moment that it is available to pre-order past launch like RDR2 and GTA5 did.

Yeah GTA 6 may or may not sell like it was recently projected to due to the Sony backlash and pre-orders being cancelled. Sony & Rockstar are both playing with fire imo, but Rockstar might be able to recover if they do start production on physical copies of GTA 6 as rumored. Sony on the other hand...well... they might be in for a serious rude awakening when the PS6 is launched. The same can be said with Microsoft and XBox Helix.

Enough bad word of mouth and bad press can really fuck up these companies bottom line. Sony has made A LOT of bad marketing decisions in one week that may have permanent consequences in terms of dealing with consumers.
