This might be a crazy way to look at it but it almost seems like with a move like this that Boston isnt completely sold on Tatum either....like if you believe in Tatum coming back healthy and being ready to go that was still the best path to a championship....this seems more future focused unless Tatum really didnt mind getting Brown out of their and/or the Celtics make another trade for someone like Trey Murphy

Winning solves everything and with JB and Tatum they are a winning team. Not to mention they still had an out this year saying Tatum won't be back to being his old self till next season. Built in excuse to lose in the 2nd round again.

Nothing makes sense.

I would say maybe Tatum told Brad it's either him or Brown but no way you can keep something like that hidden in the NBA anymore.

Still can't make sense of it.

Sixers just got gifted the the post Embiid years for nothing. I ain't even hating. Shout out the Sixers. That team is gonna be fun to watch.

yeah so they thought Peyton was going to take a Jalen Brunson leap so they traded jb? Why they like this because we still surrounded him with perimeter defenders and multiple people to help offensively why they lie like that

At this point hopefully Tatum has a decent season then they probably trade him and white for picks and start a quick rebuild,

Even if Tatum returns to 100% yall don’t have the pieces to put a team around him to win a ring anymore and got some franchise stench going on
 
Man no one needed this Knicks championship as much as Leon Rose.

Imagine seeing Giannis going for 3 picks and JB going for 1 and a half picks and PGs horrible contract and then looking at Mikails 5 picks.

Its fuck them picks now but no way Leon could have survived this summer if Knicks lost in the ECF
